For the past few months I’ve been following the progress of Andrea Wren, a freelance journalist for The Guardian, as she started her own blog with expert help. There was none of the “5 ways to instantly get rich quick through internet marketing!” hysteria.
Andrea calmly got help from Glen Allsop of ViperChill, a successful blogger, and spent six months working hard to create Butterflyist.
She wrote about her experiences each step of the way in a Guardian series — and Glen wrote up detailed information to complement her articles.
Just starting to set up my second blog, I couldn’t have been more pleased to come across this. OK, you have to concentrate to follow the detail in Glen’s articles, and it’s clear that there is no quick and simple way to blogging success — but who said it was going to be easy?
I’m sure my next blog will benefit, and good luck to Andrea with Butterflyist.
